Fulfilment guidance

Know how the part will move before the quote is final.

Part size, weight, fragility, fluids, destination and handling all affect whether collection, local delivery or freight is appropriate.

Parts organised for storage and dispatch

Choose the right method

Collection and freight are item-specific.

A small electrical module and a complete engine cannot share the same fulfilment promise.

01

Collection

Bring the quote reference and a suitable vehicle. Staff confirm the handover point and loading limits before arrival.

02

Local delivery

Available only for eligible items and addresses. Timing and any unloading requirement are agreed in writing.

03

Freight

Dimensions, weight, packaging, carrier access and dangerous-goods restrictions must be checked before dispatch.

Collection sequence

A prepared handover protects the item and the customer.

  1. 01

    Confirm the quote

Check stock ID, price, compatibility note, condition and warranty status.

  2. 02

    Agree the method

Confirm collection point, delivery area or freight arrangement.

  3. 03

    Prepare transport

Use a vehicle, restraints and lifting plan suitable for the part.

  4. 04

    Check at handover

Inspect identifiers and disclosed condition before the item leaves.

Freight condition

Inspect the package before accepting damage.

If packaging is visibly damaged, record photos before unpacking and follow the carrier and warranty instructions on the invoice.

Need an item moved?

Start with the part. We’ll confirm the workable fulfilment options.

Do not book transport until the item identity, availability, dimensions and handover requirements have been confirmed.
